PMS asked former NFL head coach Dick Vermeil about the Eagles hiring Chip Kelly and if he’ll be able to make the transition from college to the NFL

Vermeil: “I think he’s a real fine football coach. I have a few people that worked with him at Oregon that I coached or coached with me, so I know they have great respect and admiration for him. I think he’ll do a good job. Will he have to adjust to the National Football League? We all do. You know they’re bigger, faster, and smarter and they make a lot more money. Some of them make more money than the coaches. He’ll adjust. The big thing is surrounding yourself with people that can help you make the transition.”
