PMS asked UCLA guard Larry Drew II about being around basketball his entire life since his dad was a player and now head coach in the NBA, and how cool was it to have Magic Johnson tweet at him after he made the game winning shot last night: Drew II: “Magic’s actually my godfather, so I grew up pretty close to Magic. I call him Uncle Buck.
He added, "Just growing up, my father being who he is, being in the NBA doing what he does, it really just gave me an opportunity to meet a lot of the faces and the figures within the NBA. I got to meet guys like Michael Jordan and Kobe and all your favorite players, you know you got to see growing up as a kid."
